Like a Lotus Flower that grows the most beautiful in the muddiest swamp, meditation can take you from the stress of everyday life in a state of emotional calm and well-being. Meditation is consciousness resting.  It is a time when you are out of ordinary mental consciousness. Meditation is consciousness resting. It is the experience of “no thoughts”; a time when there is only peace and you feel love surrounding you like an invisible substance of care and support.

Humans ask, “What do Angels DO?”  Angels ask, “What do humans BE?”

Mediation is a state of Being. ….  Being-ness.  It is a state of non-doing; non-thinking. It is teaching the body how to experience and maintain stillness, internalizing the senses, and quieting the mind.  Meditation is an invitation to experience your own Oneness with the All, the Divine, God, or whatever name you put to that sense we all have of experiencing something bigger and beyond what we experience in the three-dimensional world of human existence.  It is bigger than just sitting and listening to music or taking a quiet walk in the forest.  While any of these forms are further endeavors and can help you calm you nervous system, there can be a deeper sense of your own Being-ness through a more formalized progression of meditation practices.

You can attend weekly sessions for a gently guided meditation or if you are interested, you are invited to join a six week introduction to meditation course in which you can learn specific tools to propel your consciousness into deeper and deeper realms of reality.

The course includes specific vocabulary for ease of communication, techniques which help to quiet the mind and still the body, specific breathing practices, and different ways of perceiving reality and the perceptions usually presented in this modern world.
